I feel privileged to communicate with you as Chairman of Indplas'22 Exhibition Organising Committee – the 9th International Exhibition on Plastics being held at Biswa Bangla Mela Prangan, Kolkata from November 25 – 28, 2022. Indplas is the largest plastics exhibition in Eastern India and the third largest in India. The exhibition is supported by all major plastics association and the Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals, Govt. of India.
The Federation has been holding exhibitions since 1981. Each successive exhibition has been an improvement over the previous one. Our last Indplas exhibition was held from November 30 – December 3, 2018. It was a tremendous success with over 400 exhibitors, of which over 100 were from foreign countries. Exhibitors were very impressed and satisfied with the all the facilities provided by the organisers.
This exhibition is being organised at the newly built Milan Mela exhibition ground which is situated in the heart of the city adjacent to ITC Royal Bengal Hotel with world class facilities with a covered area of 2.00 lakh sq. ft. and host of other business facilities including ample power, multi-storeyed car parking, food courts, conference halls and a well-equipped business centre. The ground will be a paradise for both visitors and exhibitors.
The last two years has been very difficult for the plastic industry. With the pandemic almost over this will probably be the first physical plastics exhibition in India. Keeping the inconvenience faced by industry in mind we have reduced the stall rent by Rs.1000/- per sq. m. Though prices have increased over the last four years we thought it fit to reduce the stall rent to give some relief to exhibitors.
Now it is time to Expand your Horizon and block your space for the upcoming plastiventure.
